Thinking about upgrading, or installing a new CCTV system? Here’s why you’ve come to the right place at A Plus Security
COVERT CCTV
Covert CCTV offers a disguised form of surveillance to help identify individuals quickly and clearly, ideal for those looking to discreetly monitor their premises. Why invest in covert CCTV?
Speed up the prosecution process - In addition to their small and discreet appearance, covert cameras can be strategically installed in ‘hidden’ areas, to prevent suspects from being aware that the area is monitored. Especially in the instance of theft, many suspects will disguise their identity, or block and evade the camera to prevent being identified. Covert surveillance assists with an accurate prosecution.
Offer public peace of mind - High-security outlets such as prestigious retail stores or banks require strong surveillance, however, a large presence of cameras can easily cause the public to feel uncomfortable, by sending out signals that the area is dangerous. The concealed nature of covert cameras eliminates this fear.
THERMAL CCTV
Thermal imaging detects slight changes in temperature to immediately recognise potential threats.
Ideal for dimly lit environments or poor weather conditions, thermal CCTV is a cost-effective solution for organisations looking to heighten the security of their premises. Here’s how:
Fewer false alarms - Thermal imaging proves to be a cost-effective option of surveillance by minimising the risk of false alarms. Using advanced analytics software that can perform seamlessly with the high contrast footage that thermal imaging provides, it also offers a high level of detection accuracy.
Ability to detect through foliage - Whilst basic levels of CCTV have a visual limitation, thermal imaging can quickly detect heat sources, to identify activity invisible to the human eye. Thermal cameras are optimal for low light scenarios, to monitor dimly lit parameters of the building, or during night-time hours, and provides surveillance over huge distances and areas.
Excellent return on investment - Thermal CCTV offers an affordable option for organisations looking for a high-end security option. As most CCTV cameras have a visual limitation of 200 meters at night, where supplementary lighting is required, thermal imaging works as a stand-alone solution, eliminating the need to install or maintain additional features.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Which CCTV systems do you provide?
We only recommend the best systems in the industry in line with your budget. They range from basic systems that offer convenient features such as playback, live view, footage download and remote monitoring, to high-end sophisticated systems providing facial biometrics, thermal imaging, vehicle detection and even analytical alarms based on human algorithms.
Can you monitor my site for me?
Yes. We are partnered with an accredited remote monitoring centre and can offer a 24/7 year-round monitoring service for your home or premises.
Sophisticated analytics detect a person, animal, or vehicle to eliminate the risk of false alarms. The technology can also utilise remote audio to initially warn potential intruders, prior to calling keyholders or the police.
Can I use my CCTV remotely?
Yes. All our systems come with an interface for a computer, software, or mobile app, to allow you to monitor your CCTV remotely. Each site does need to have a working broadband connection.
How much will it cost?
Depending on site requirements, a new system can cost anywhere from £200 to £10,000+ for high-risk sites. In the rare situation that your needs might exceed your budget, our leasing agreements provide the option to pay off the system monthly or quarterly.
What next?
A free site survey and audit will confirm, firstly, whether CCTV is the best security solution for your premises. We’ll provide a report of our findings, outlining the type and quality of system we advise and where it should be placed.
